New Layout
I know I have been missing for some time. The thing is, I haven't had any time to scrap and when I do, I just don't have the inspiration like I use to. It's like it has all been sucked out of me.
Well, today I just started looking for ideas and came across this sketch from Page Maps and I really liked it for the baby book I'm working on.
I hope to do more. So, I'm going to start pushing myself again and try to get some challenges done. I use to love doing them once upon a time ago.

Sad News

Well yesterday out of the blue Foster pasted away. He was around 7 years old and was a health dog compared to his sister Precious who has all the health problems. We would never thought that she would have out lived him. I was a very sad evening for everyone.
He will be missed dearly, but he's in a much better place now.

Always an Adventure

Here is another cute lo for Lisa's baby book. I am almost done with her first son's book. I know I have been working on it for a long time now. Plus, she is already sending me her second son's picture and I am excited to start working on those.
These last few months have been even harder, since I am searching for a job and going to interviews. I really did not think that it would be this hard to get one. I am going on 4 months of looking and have maybe 15 or more interviews already but can not land a job. I even went to one this morning and it was a small company with very low pay and no benefits. At least DH has those with his job. I just need a paycheck to cover my end of my bills. I am running low on money and I don't feel it is right to ask DH to pay for my bills. I know were married and all but he has enough on his plate as it is. I can already tell he starting to stress over money. He thinks we are going to eat through all his savings and what if something really bad happens and we need that money. I tell him he always worries to much. Something will come before we get to that. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself.
Well I better let you go. I don't think you want to hear me complain. ):
Have a wonderful day,
Del

It's a Girl Baby Book

Hi all,Well I completed another order for a baby book. This was a very simple one. Not very much detail. The hardest part was making the cover. I could not find one in green and when I did, it did not have enough page protector and the damn screw's would not come out. What the heck? So, I had to cover a blue one and that was more work then what the whole book was worth. At least she gave a really good tip. I was VERY grateful for that. Its a good thing I didn't tell her I had to cover it. Lol
The carousel horse and the stork were digi image found some where online that were in my stash. I'm sorry I could not give the credit to who they belong but I do love them, for whoever created them.
Well, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Saturday was a good day for DD and I but Sunday was an emotional roller coaster. It is very hard when DH is out of town and your trying to raise his daughter by yourself. So, hopefully after yesterday everything is back in order. He should be back on Saturday and I think we all cannot wait for that. Two weeks of training for work is hard. Yes, we all need a break from each other every once in a while, but I cant do it for that long.
Have a wonderful day and many more to come,

A couple of items
Hi everyone,
I keep promising y'all some serious posting but Fail on the follow through. This time there are no promises just a fun little posting. Maybe I will keep it up....Maybe I won't. You will have to come back to make sure I stay on my game.
This is another page for Lisa's baby book that I'm working on for her.
I love the colors in this card and the stamp is just to cute. It is another one from Paper Smooches and so is the one in the lo.

Bird day Card
Sorry about the picture. I took it with my phone, so I didn't have to pull out the big camera. I have to say that I just love these new stamps by Paper Smooches. The bird is right up my alley and the card is an old kit that was purchased a long time ago from Keepsake Trends. I've been trying to use my old stash with the new one. After setting up my room, I realized that I have way to much stuff and need to start using what I have instead of buying so much.
Enjoy your day!!!

10 Years and 1 Year
I cannot believe that today is 10-years that DH and I have been together, not only that is our 1-year anniversary, since we got married. Do not get me wrong this past year has been the hardest of them all for the two of us. We have been put through lots of trials and some that we did not give up on. Even though it has been very hard and still trying to over come them, we are happy. May it continue on.
I think DD and I will head to the rodeo since she has no school and there is nothing else to do in Marana. Lol, its rodeo day down here and how do you like that, they get off from school just for that. We were never so lucky back in the day.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

So Much Pain
I think my back has finally caught up with me. This morning I woke up having to crawl out of bed. It is the lower back and my hipbone. I have tried everything today, down to a vicky and the pain is still there and has not loosened up one bit. DH say’s I am such a baby but he has been helping me get around since I can barely walk without getting tears in my eyes.
Of all days to be in pain to, we have to be at parent teacher night at 6:30. >:
Well I hope your all having a better day than I am.

Hello Everyone
I know I have been gone for some time, but I promise I have a good reason. At least I hope so.
Well we no longer live in Phoenix, but in Marana. We moved out here on January 15th. We had to move because DH lost his Job with Bally’s in September and was able to get a new one in November with STS. Therefore, they relocated us closer to Tucson, where he will be closer to the hospitals when they call him. He is still in charge of all of AZ and does a lot of traveling, mostly Phoenix. Why couldn’t we stay there then?....we asked but it was a NO go. Most of the work is in Tucson.
We also got his middle child living with us now and going to school out here. Therefore, that has been great for all of us. She brought her guinea pig Lacey and her dog Sasha out here with her. The dog is so sweet and loveable. However, the guinea pig makes it very hard for me to breath. I cannot even go in her room without suffocating.
I finally have finished unpacking the house. My scrap room was the very last thing to get done >:, but it is finally done and I can create again. After a month and half of not doing, anything has been hard. Last night while DD was with her friend and I was waiting for DH to come home, I was able to complete a very simple page for a friend’s baby book.
Since I have no job, I hope to get as much as I can done of her book before her 2nd child gets here. This way I can start on that baby book for her.
Do not get me wrong though, I am looking for a job. I find it hard to be at home all day even though I have been super busy; I need that interaction with people.
Well I better get going…have a wonderful day and I hope to be on here more now that I have my own space. ( :

Happy New Year's and Happy Birthday Mom

Just as the clock signals the arrival of the New Year on midnight people start exchanging New Year Wishes with their dear ones. While personal greetings along with a warm hug is given to people who are with us and New Year cards are sent to dear one's staying in different cities.
Every new year people make resolutions to change themselves they believe are negative. A majority of people revert back to how they were before. I have not given myself a New Years Resolution in some time because he can never be kept. This year I challenge you to a new resolution. I challenge you to just be yourself.

Happy Birthday Mom!!!
New Year’s Reflections
Looking back on the months gone by,
As a new year starts and an old one ends,
We contemplate what brought us joy,
And we think of our loved ones and our friends.
Recalling all the happy times,
Remembering how they enriched our lives,
We reflect upon who really counts,
As the fresh and bright new year arrives.
And when I ponder those who do,
I immediately think of you.
Thanks for being one of the reasons I'll have a Happy New Year!

Wishing Everyone A Wonderful Christmas
On the most beautiful holiday of the year, it's time to spread those Christmas feelings:Love, Hope, Joy and Peace to people around us. Make everyone feel the warmth of the season by sending a few simple words.
And Christmas is, certainly, an occasion to celebrate.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. Video games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost, golf clubs will rust, but giving the gift of CHRISTMAS LOVE will endure.
Enjoy a nice Christmas with your friends and family.

Forgive... but forget?
Things have been rough around here and I haven't been able to put coherent thoughts together and get them written out or even scrap, but I'm working on it.
One of the things I'm writing about is the whole "forgive & forget" concept. We are Biblically commanded to forgive... and when God forgives us, He does so completely, keeping no record of what we've done wrong. In a world that tells us we deserve the best and should practically be worshiped, how do we put this into practice? I'm not sure I have the answer to that and how to forgive that other person when they have hurt me so bad. Any suggestions out there that can help me?

Life is a Messy Business
There were many subjects I could have chosen but I suppose getting my life back on track is the main mission. Where do I start? Before it was DH who was struggling and in a dark area of his life. Now I'm there and I can't move past it.
I know how it feel about having regrets for decisions made in the past. Just about everyone has regrets about past decisions. I've learned that the important thing is that you don't dwell on past decisions. But when you get down to it, whether the decisions you've made are right or wrong what's done is done and nothing you can do will change past decisions. The important thing is to let that person off the hook for past actions. I can't keep beating myself up over things I can't change. I still have the rest of MY life to live. I deserve to be happy. What do I want to do? How do I not cheat myself out of my own happiness by feeling hatred for the rest of my life over things that can't be changed now that there done?
I think I'm putting too much of this crap on myself, when it's not my fault. I never asked for any of this. I need to make a decision and make my life the one I want. It is time to take back control of my life and move forward.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
“Remember God's bounty in the year. String the pearls of His favor. Hide the dark parts, except so far as they are breaking out in light! Give this one day to thanks, to joy, to gratitude!”
