Happy Black Friday!!!

I hope every one is enjoying there day and if your off shopping I hope your getting all those wonderful deals that they have advertised and being safe. I hate shopping in large crowds and I feel safer here behind my computer. DH and I are being lazy, enjoying the day. Though I am getting some cleaning done between surfing the net and while he's plays his game. Can't get him away from that as you all know and that gives me plenty of time to scrap without any interruptions from him.

He's Here

He was born today at 2:00pm. His name is David Randy. I'm sorry it's not the best picture, but it was sent to me by text. He is our Thanksgiving Blessing Today. He weighed 8 1/2 lb and is 19 inches long. Holy cow! A big baby.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and enjoys the time they spend with their family. Our family is all out of town. So, it just Steve and I again this year. But everyone please send your prayers along to my sister. She should be having her baby some time today. She's been in the hospital since yesterday, hopefully it come's along soon.

2 more challenges completed

I finished Challenge 15 - Sweets and Treats over at the Cupcake Craft blog. This challenge was to create some things with a sweet touch to it. I made a cupcake paper piece. I like this card better than my next one.



My second card for tonight is for the STRETCH YOUR IMAGINATION...TURKEY CHALLENGE at Bitten by the Bug. It the blog where they challenge you to use your cricket. Well my turkey, I don't came out as cute as there's.

Cup Cake Challenge #14

I completed 1 challenge tonight. Now that I have my scrapbook Mojo back, I'm taking full advantage of it. My room looks horrible and DH says he gets a headache just looking at it. Ha ha. Now he knows how I feel when I come home and there is mess on the floor that he left there when the dogs chewed something up.

This challenge is for Cupcake Craft Blog.

Here's there sketch and my take on it. I stayed to the sketch and didn't change it up. I really liked it.

Tree Challenge

Over at Bitten by the Bug they are having a tree challenge using a cricket cartridge. Well I don't have have a cricket, but like what everyone is doing with the tree's. I borrowed one of there tree's from the DT and made a pattern and made it my own to add to my layout. I like the way it came out, not to simple and not to hard. That blog has lot's of great idea to use with one pattern every week.

Today is my day off and the house needs to be vacuumed and dust. So, I get up and I'm ready to go. I start taking all the dust off the furniture and now I can't seem to stop sneezing. Do you ever get that way? It doesn't help that we have four dogs and there is hair all over the place. There shedding there summer coat like no tomorrow and getting there winter one. I took some allergy pills so I can finish what I started and I'm waiting for DH to get his lazy butt out of bed so I can turn the vacuum on and then finish dusting with some pledge.

On Tuesday I came home from work early because I had a killer migraine and it's one of those that makes me really edgy and grouchy. So, I took a nap and woke up around 7pm or so. It was a great feeling because all of a sudden I had the urge to SCRAP. That night I completed 2 layouts and 1 card. It's been like three weeks since I've touched my stuff. It felt like a heavy weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I don't have a picture yet, but I will soon.

Wednesday I went to bed early again. So no scrapping there. I did complete 1 page and 1 card yesterday. I'm so happy to have my scrapbook mojo back. You all know what that feeling is like to not accomplish anything and see everybody else. Its very depressing. At least in my thoughts.

Is anyone there?

I'm sure with my absence from my blog I've lost a lot of readers but for those of you that are still there I wanted to post a quickly. I barely have time to breathe these days let alone scrap :(. It’s more my mood than anything. I’ve been back and done with the baby shower since 20Th of October and I just have no motivation to do anything. My house needs a good cleaning and I think my scrap stuff is starting to miss me. He he. What is one to do when you’re stuck in this stump? If only there was a magic wand to wave, like Liz’s says. I promise I will show some pictures from the baby shower and post the baby book later , I did get some of those. Which my sister Loved.
