Wishing Everyone A Wonderful Christmas

On the most beautiful holiday of the year, it's time to spread those Christmas feelings:

Love, Hope, Joy and Peace to people around us. Make everyone feel the warmth of the season by sending a few simple words.

And Christmas is, certainly, an occasion to celebrate.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. Video games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost, golf clubs will rust, but giving the gift of CHRISTMAS LOVE will endure.

Enjoy a nice Christmas with your friends and family.

Forgive... but forget?

Things have been rough around here and I haven't been able to put coherent thoughts together and get them written out or even scrap, but I'm working on it.

One of the things I'm writing about is the whole "forgive & forget" concept. We are Biblically commanded to forgive... and when God forgives us, He does so completely, keeping no record of what we've done wrong. In a world that tells us we deserve the best and should practically be worshiped, how do we put this into practice? I'm not sure I have the answer to that and how to forgive that other person when they have hurt me so bad. Any suggestions out there that can help me?

Life is a Messy Business

There were many subjects I could have chosen but I suppose getting my life back on track is the main mission. Where do I start? Before it was DH who was struggling and in a dark area of his life. Now I'm there and I can't move past it.

I know how it feel about having regrets for decisions made in the past. Just about everyone has regrets about past decisions. I've learned that the important thing is that you don't dwell on past decisions. But when you get down to it, whether the decisions you've made are right or wrong what's done is done and nothing you can do will change past decisions. The important thing is to let that person off the hook for past actions. I can't keep beating myself up over things I can't change. I still have the rest of MY life to live. I deserve to be happy. What do I want to do? How do I not cheat myself out of my own happiness by feeling hatred for the rest of my life over things that can't be changed now that there done?

I think I'm putting too much of this crap on myself, when it's not my fault. I never asked for any of this. I need to make a decision and make my life the one I want. It is time to take back control of my life and move forward.

Taking a Deep Breath

Good morning all,

DH is in very hard place right now and he was leaving to Crown King to camp for the weekend with a friend. I told him to relax this weekend and enjoy him self. He tells me even if I do, I come back and its right back in my face when I get home. I understand his situation and where he is coming from, but if he is going to be so depressed and negative about the whole thing and does not want help.
How am I suppose to be strong for the both of us right now? I still come home put a smile on my face and listen to him about how sorry he fills for him self. I tell him that we are okay and we will get through it together, no matter what. That I love him very much and I will be here for him through thick or thin. I'm always trying to instill positive thoughts in his mind or at least let him know that I'm in positive state of the situation. I'm always praying for guidance and for him to lead DH in the right path right now.

Sorry for the post, I needed to vent and need some inspiration from you ladies.

Father's

Hi everyone!

I've got a new lo up at T2P and it is also for one of the Baby books that I'm working on. The lady that I made this for gave this and the other page to her husband for Father's day. I just hope he likes it as much as she does.

I also got a new order for a baby book on Twins. That will be the first for me. It's always either one or the other and now I have to combine both a girl and a boy into one book. Yikes! I bought the paper today and it was kind of hard to find a common ground that would work for both of them. So I will see how it works.

Design Team Call for Thoughts2Paper

A new On-line scrapbook/card supply store looking for 3-4 Talented Design Team Members. The call starts on Saturday May 22nd and ends June 11th 2010 at Midnight. The new DT will be announced on the stores blog June 16th. The terms is from July 1st 2010 to Jan 31st 2011. Sorry, no International applicants at this time.

What we’re looking for:
Die Cut Specialist to work with our very own die cuts.
These include boxes, bags, cards, etc. We work with Accucut to manufacturer our die cuts.

MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) Specialist. You will be responsible for altering items such as clocks, boxes, coasters, etc.

Scrapbook page background specialist. You will be responsible for taking our pre-made templates and shapes and creating Scrapbook pages.

Compensation:
You will receive product to keep and a 35% discount in the store.

Happy Mothers Day

Thought2Paper Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the very first Blog Hop. You are all joining me from Jan's and I'm so excited to have been invited to join along with all the fabulous talented DT who are sharing their talent with Thought2Paper in there creations in this super fun blog hop.

This fun paper from the line of Jillibean Soup (which can be found in the store). On the cut out flower I used some flower flock.


















This one is a Die Cut that will also be sold in the store that is used to send your gift cards in. I hand cut my own branch. I also cut out some little owls from the Jillibean Soup Paper. Used some more flower flock on the on the wings and on some punch out flower.

10 days old

This one is pretty much a lift I found at 2peas. I even went with there title. It was a little different but I still went with the same idea minus all the butterflies and girlie stuff. I love how it came out.
The skull I used as a paper piece for this lo is a stamp image I pulled from Stamping Up.





The lady I'm doing the book for is loving it so far. She is so sweet and giddy every time she see new pages.


Well DH left me alone for the weekend, he went to see his parents. :)


So, I have to go to a wedding by myself tomorrow though. But it will be fun, its out in Mesa. i just hate the drive late at night by myself. :(


I also want to congratulate one of our friends. They had there Baby Boy Ethan yesterday. He weighed 9lbs and 12 oz. I don't know how long he was. Did not get that :(

Baby shower and Maternity Lo

These are pictures from the new baby book I'm working on for a lady at work. She gave me all the pictures from the baby shower to the 1st birthday.

So, with limited product I'm trying to use a lot of scraps that I had from previous projects and turning them in to embellishments and such.

B/W, Teal & Yellow

I got another baby girl baby book. This one is different in color, but I stick to the same wording since I have it in a word document and that makes it easy for printing. I love the colors on this book. I think all the pages came out cute except the Wish page. It is not one of my favorites. I will let you take a look and make your own call. Let me know what you think.























Another reason I have been missing for a while is because, we have now sold our house and we are waiting for the bank to approve the short sale on the offer the couple made. This way we can get approved for our loan and start looking for a new house. Which we already have been looking, but it is better to have an idea of what kind loan we are looking at. So, most of our house is already in boxes. DH has had us busy since he put on the market. This is really good because it only took two weeks for it to sell. I will try to keep you update as we go. Its a Girl Book

Hello All,
Well here is one more similar baby girl book. Please forgive me for the horrible pictures. These were taken at work. I did not get chance to take at home before I left. So was early in the morning and sun was still not out. The baby that I made this book for, she was born on March 4th and is health and well, along with the mother.

I have 2 more baby books to work on and then I should be able to work on my stuff. Can't wait. I will also be having a few sketches coming up in next month or so. Keep an eye out for those.

Monkey Book - Boy

Hello All,

I wanted to share another baby book I finished last week for a lady that works upstairs where I work. She wanted it to be a brown and blue book with Monkey's. Well this is what I came up with and she tells me that she likes my title page and the page where they add there prints the best.

Well I almost done with another baby book and this one is similar to the one I posted earlier this month, but thats what she wanted.
