January Sketch for Secret Scrapper

Happy New Year to Family and Friends!!!

May you enjoy the blessing that our Lord sends and trust in His guidance along the way as you begin a brand new year on this happy day. The holidays are always a time of reflection for me and they clarify what is important in my life. I wish that you all have a chance to stop and think about all the people who are truly important in your lives. Take some time this coming year to let them know how special they are to you and take the time to enjoy who they are. I have enjoyed working with and getting to know so many of you this year. I am thankful for all the support I have felt from all of you. I am excited about the possibilities we have in front of us as one year closes out and a new one opens up with so many more possibilities to come this year.

This month we have two sketch at SS. One created by Becky Fleck with a layout from Mandy the Secret Scrapper. Also one that I created. You have a choice to do either one this month. At the end of the month I will give out a RAK out to one lucky person. Along with your name included in the monthly drawing that takes place January 31st.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas.

On Monday

I will be entering into the hospital for a few day to get tested. Dr Syla things I should have gone back to Dr Spetzler. He thinks that the 4mm malformation on the right side of my brain can be causing all of this. When I told him that Dr Spetzer said to have my Primary doctor find me a neurologist to see, that when he decide that he was going to do an EKG to monitor my brain waives. I was lucky to get this appointment, if not I would have had to wait till the end of February. I can't imagine waiting that long to find out what is going on. I'm just happy that they are going to look into it. There not to bad I guess. My dad got one done about three years ago. They make your head look like Medusa. I'll keep you up dated when I get more information. -Del

The Secret Scrapper they are having an end of the month crop. They have 17 different challenges. They all need to be completed by December 19th and on the 20th they will be giving prices and RAK out to some lucky winners. I have a few things on there, so go check them out.

I've been MIA

These are a few lo I made for the online crop at SO. I got a total of 6 challenges done out of 25. Yes there is one missing but to save a fight from happening in my house with the DH I didn't post it on here.

On Saturday Night some the Scrappin Chica's got together for a crop at Ang's house. It was a lot of fun. Here is a picture of the 5 of us that her DH took of us. We also got to meet a new member Amanda. She is a very lovely girl with an awesome personality. I hope we get to scrap more often even though she drove a long way to come scrap with us.

Sorry I've been gone. I have this really bad cold right now. One day I'm fine and the next I'm really bad. I'm loosing my voice, which is not good for my job since I spend 98% of the time on the phone.

This Week

Hiedi emailed me the Pickle Party picture. It was an awesome evening. We created the Life Book by Lance himself. Lots of fun hanging out with friends. We all got invited by Hiedi who won the Rusty Pickle contest. She got first place. She will have her book published and she won the party of course. She did a fantastic job.



I did this layout for a challenge over at Simply Obsessed. It was to scrap something in the news, since we tend to highlight everything else. This is for future generations so we can tell the whole story and to not leave anything out.




This one is for the ABC challenge. We had to use a Die Cut, +5 Eyelets, and a Flower.
My sister and friend Clarabelle who is going to be a mom to my new niece or nephew in May I think. We were all excited for her and my brother. This will be her first child.




I made this a 6x12. My very first one in fact, but I really enjoyed making this size. It was for another challenge over at Simply Obsessed.

They have lots of great challenges over there and you all know I love a great challenge. They keep me busy and thinking. Always something new to try.


Well I'm off. I caught a stinking cold and I'm not feeling the hottest right now. I just needed to get up and post some stuff that was due yesterday for the Secret Scrapper. Hope you all have a great weekend and are feeling a lot better than I am.

Secret Scrapper

I made this for a card challenge where the flower is your main focus.

All these Christmas thing's I did with the Bo Bunny paper. We did this for the DT. I believe Liz and Debbie picked out all the gorgeous paper. I had fun doing all eight 6 x 6 page's.

Simple Scrapbooks' PLAY Date

This is a layout I started in one of the classes from CKU Convention. It was about creating something new by playing from the inner necessity, the creative mind plays with the objects it loves. There class was based off this magazine Scrapbook Play. Lots of awesome idea in the book.

I made these three cards for a game over at Secret Scrapper. They send you the thing's to make the cards. You can only use what they send you plus stamps. I didn't follow the rule's since I had no idea what it was for. The only extra thing I added was the stickles. Next time I'll know how it works since I messed this one up.

The two Halloween and Fall card came from a monthly Kit I get from Heartstring Designs. This is actually my first kit I received. You get a lot and you make up to 16 cards. I took them in to work on Sunday and my friend Brook and I would work on the same card and come up with different ideas. I forgot to take my ink and glue dot's though. Oh well they still came out cute.

Well I'm off to Ray's Pizza to get a Sicilian Pepperoni Pizza. The bf has been craving pizza all weekend. Have a great day.

I made the card for a challenge over at Secret Scrapper to use the colors Blue, Black, and white/cream.

The two fall lo's I used the October Monthly Kit for Simply Obsessed with Lil Davis Paper. On the chip board I embossed on it. I learned that one trick from Tonya over at Simply Obsessed. Now I don't have to worry about buying some of the one they sell. I can make it my self. I love the way it came out and with a little paint to dress it up. Who can ask for more than that.

This is a quick lo I made for a challenge over at Simply Obsessed where you had to use note book paper on a lo. The paper I picked up from Ginger when she had her scrapbook yard sale at her house. It My Mind's Eye from the Kaleidoscope papers. It has been discontinued though. I guess I will have to buy some of there new cute paper.

I did all these cards for challenges for the WCMD over at Simply Obsessed. I made all four this morning at work. I got to use some of my friend Brook's Stamps from Stamping Up for some of these cards. I think they all came out alright for having limited stuff at work. My Turkey card is made with all rub-ons and I placed the circles on chipboard to pop them up. The inside of the card say Happy Thanksgiving.
