Friday Night Crop

I went out to Amie's crop for the night. Which I haven't gotten together with a group of woman in a long time. Yes I have scrapped with other individuals, but it is so nice to meet new people and be in a large group sometime away from DH for a while. I love him dearly, I just need to get out and chat even though say I'm very quite. It might have been small and a little smushed, but that's the way it would be at my house to. We still had a blast anyways and I for one enjoyed my self.
I completed 5 lo. I can't share them yet, but after the holidays I will make a post for them. So remind me, this wayI don't forget.
This is the gift that I made for White Elephant exchange. The paper piece came from a digital element, but I can't find it now, if not I would post where I got it from. Sorry to who ever created it. I do hope that you like it though.

I came home to a clean house

Can you believe DH cleaned house for me yesterday instead of spending his day playing his game? ... I don't know if it has to do with me not feel well since last Tuesday with my my migraines or not. I have been coming home so grumpy and not doing nothing but sleeping or relaxing. I told him that no matter how I felt I would start to clean the house because we were starting to run out of dishes. But you also got to remember were only 2 and don't have many, lol. So they were all in the sink waiting for me to wash them. Well he washed them, cleaned the floors, re arranged the living room and did all the laundry without messing it up. He made me smile when I got home. See he can be a BIG sweet Heart at times. :)

No Challenge Today!

I only made 4 cards today, but it took forever to cut my cute little monsters that I made for this card. I figure they be would cute to give little kids. This how I spent my day off, cutting paper. Isn't that the life? DH gets mad that I spend more time in my room then paying attention to him sometimes.

Day 262 - Color Scheme Challenge

Another fun challenge at 365 Cards, that was more of a challenge then what I planned for. Lol The colors were a little tough and I couldn't decide how I was going to lay it out and I couldn't find a sketch that I felt like doing. It was doozy for me. I think I'm starting to get burned out with all these cards. I made 6 of these ones, but there not really my favorite so far.

Day 261 - Card Recipe

It's been a while since I made a card using a recipe challenge, so at 365cards they had one yesterday that I thought I would get done today. It was a 4x4 Card with a Red Background, Snowflakes, 1 ribbon and a stamped sentiment. I made 8 of these one's today. It's very simple looking but cute!

Unscripted Sketches 31

I could not sleep past 1 this morning, so I was up creating a few cards. I made this one for the Unscripted sketch challenge. It didn't come out anything like it but I like the way it all flows and the colors are just yummy on this card.

Here is another challenge that I got completed. It took me all day because I made 12 of them. I think they are just cute with the paper piece I made for it. I just love making them. I found the idea from the image below.

STORYBOOK....BIRD CHALLENGE

I love this bird that they are using as a challenge over at Bitten By The Bug.

I made 13 of these cards. I hand cut the bird since I don't have a bug. I could of used my pazzle machine but I just felt like cutting paper one night. So I drew the bird and the tree free hand to make a pattern. Then I cut 13 of each in one night. I finished the rest of the card the next night.

Today we got the house clean and the back yard. Beside the little things during the week, Sunday is always our cleaning day from one end to the other. I get the inside and DH gets the outside. Were he gets the yucky part of cleaning up after the dogs. :(

Omg. We went out on a little much-needed Sunday date-day after working all week long to see "A Christmas Carol" and "The Fourth Kind". Dh could not wait to see the Christmas Carol. It was a very good movie and we recommend everyone to see it. The graphics are amazing and the 3d effect just adds to it. The Fourth kind is for someone that believe in Aliens. Dh though it was going to be more of a scary movie, but it was not. There was a lot of footage from a camcorder's. I'm glad it was not scary, hate to watch them in the theaters because I scream to much. Lol...there not for me, but I do it because DH loves them.

Unscripted Sketches 29

I finally got some scrapping done after so long. They are 2 cards that I created for a sketch challenge over at Unscripted Sketches.
This is how I'm enjoying my day off and it is nice peaceful with out DH here. I'm loving it.
Well I'm off to see what else I can find out there in the blog world of challenges.
