Is anyone there?

I'm sure with my absence from my blog I've lost a lot of readers but for those of you that are still there I wanted to post a quickly. I barely have time to breathe these days let alone scrap :(. It’s more my mood than anything. I’ve been back and done with the baby shower since 20Th of October and I just have no motivation to do anything. My house needs a good cleaning and I think my scrap stuff is starting to miss me. He he. What is one to do when you’re stuck in this stump? If only there was a magic wand to wave, like Liz’s says. I promise I will show some pictures from the baby shower and post the baby book later , I did get some of those. Which my sister Loved.

A little of everything

These pictures’s are from our dinner on September 12Th at Macayo’s. With a few scrapbook ladies that were in town. It was also Amie’s Birthday on the 13Th, so it was good to see her and wish her a Happy Birthday. Unfortunately, I’m late in posting this and also did not get pictures of everyone. I was to busy talking and if you can believe it my batteries was dead when I got there, so I had to let it charge for a few minutes, just to get the pictures I got. I know I'm bad, but I'm glad that I got a few pictures at least and then Debbie said that she would send me copies of her's also.

The following night we got together with a bunch of the same ladies and let me tell you they are the best friends that you can have. They all surprised me with a birthday surprise and my birthday isn’t even till the 26Th, but since they were all in town and together they thought to celebrate it right way. I got lots of wonderful gift from store bought to homemade and two gift cards. So THANK YOU everyone for the gift and the surprise. I loved it all.

I guess that all that is going on right now, other than Jen and I are still working on Baby stuff. We have completed 9 12x12 pages for the album. We have 11 more to go. It’s not so bad when were both doing the pages and when my sister gets the book, she is going to have variety in it. I love the way it’s coming out already, but I wish I had pictures. I find it hard to scrap without pictures and some people are just so good at it, why cant I?. As soon as were done. I’ll post the picture.

Becky's PageMaps Blog Challenge

Well Jennifer and I have finished all the baby shower invitations. It took us a while to complete them all. Now were working on some baby carriages for the mints and notes to the baby. Jen's been a huge help in getting stuff done. I might have waited till the last minute if it were not for her. We got all the shopping completed too.

This is my first holiday off since I started in this department. That's the great part about it, no more working Holiday's. So, I got some layouts completed while watching some movies. The bad part of today is I managed to download the Trojan Horse on DH computer. I put the movie on pause and came to do something on my computer and went back. Well when I went to press play it asked me if I would like to scan disk the hard drive. I didn't think any thing of it, but when I said yes I guess I downloaded it, from what DH said. That's the only way it can be downloaded, is by authorizing it. I felt horrible. Thank goodness he's a computer geek because he fixed the problem and found it on my computer also, but that one had not been downloaded yet. It's been a day. In the middle of all that the tube in the toilet breaks lease and leaks all over the floor. Here I was blaming DH for throwing his spit bottle in the trash after rinsing it and leaving water in it. I had to apologize for that and infecting the computers. Everything is all fixed and now were sitting here watching Prison Break and getting ready to cook dinner.

*Happy Monday*

I haven't posted in a while. I'm such a bad blogger. I'm working on getting some invitation completed for my sisters baby shower and work on her baby book. I needed a break from cutting out the stamped images. So, I completed three layout tonight while doing laundry in between. There the top three and the others were completed two weeks ago when Jen came over to scrap. I'm just glad I got my scrap mojo back. I haven't scrapped this much in a really long time. It feels nice to get something completed.

I'm Sick

Having a summer cold is got to be one of the worst. I feel so congested and feel like I'm going to cough up a lung. Yuck. I've been home for the last three days from work, because every time I start talking I loose my voice and start chocking. This is all DH fault! He caught it when he dropped the kids off in CO. He said that it was very hot there and they had no air conditioning. Can you imagine? Its not like down here, but it was very humid.

At least I got some scrapping done though. I got together with Jen last night and completed three layouts. Plus, I also have a new sketch to post. It's simple but cute. If you every complete the sketch, post me a link. I would love to see it.

My New Job

Change your job, Change your life...
Thats the way it feels. The enviroment is so different up there. No more laid back days and deffinetly no more scrapbooking at work. My new department up in the ROCC is so much more stricter. It's like being in a prison camp because you get written up for so much up there, lol. We have 9 supovisers, where as I had 2 in the last one. The work load is a lot different. No paper work and no out bound calls, maybe it's because we are newbies still. Our day goes by very fast though, there's always calls in hold (usually more than 40). That might be good reason not to get written up, huh. I just better not mess up on my calls. Apparently there are no early shifts up there that they would give us, consequently we all got late shifts. My new day starts at 10:30 and out at 7pm. Therefore, doesnt put me home till about 7:30 or so. This was my first week of being out on the floor. It should get better since all our jittery bugs should be out the door. The job is not bad at all and it really does make the day go by fast.

Update:
My new job is a lot different then what I was working and they are so much more strict up in the customer service department. So far I'm okay with it and the high call volume makes the day go by faster. Before I know it I forget my breaks and also my lunch, hehe. I just really don't like my new hours. They kinda of suck. I loved my old hour of coming home at 3:30 instead of coming home at 8pm. You really can't do much anymore. We are taking a lot of complaints and promotions that are going on. Other than that I will be getting my computer back tomorrow from the shop. So, I will be on more now that I get. Don't know about scrapping since we have the kids and they have taken over my scrap room.

Good and Bad News

Yesterday we had a meeting at work and it wasn't good. They are getting rid of our department at work and transferring it to India. Some of us will be let go next week when everything has been transferred over. There will still be eight employee's to take some of the work load here but it won't be for long. It's so sad and depressing. There was this huge black cloud hanging over our department today.
The good news is I still have a job. They are moving a few of us to different department's, since we been there a while and we know most of the software. We still don't know where we are going yet and what is going to happen. Everything will happen on the 20Th. I'm very grateful that they didn't lay us off back in February when they let go over 1000 employee's. Some of are very luck!

On other news, we are going to Kingman to pick up the kids for the summer. Looking forward to seeing them and having some fun with them.
