Day 261 - Card Recipe

It's been a while since I made a card using a recipe challenge, so at 365cards they had one yesterday that I thought I would get done today. It was a 4x4 Card with a Red Background, Snowflakes, 1 ribbon and a stamped sentiment. I made 8 of these one's today. It's very simple looking but cute!

Unscripted Sketches 31

I could not sleep past 1 this morning, so I was up creating a few cards. I made this one for the Unscripted sketch challenge. It didn't come out anything like it but I like the way it all flows and the colors are just yummy on this card.

Day 259 - Imagine This: Snow

Here is another challenge that I got completed. It took me all day because I made 12 of them. I think they are just cute with the paper piece I made for it. I just love making them. I found the idea from the image below.

STORYBOOK....BIRD CHALLENGE

I love this bird that they are using as a challenge over at Bitten By The Bug.

I made 13 of these cards. I hand cut the bird since I don't have a bug. I could of used my pazzle machine but I just felt like cutting paper one night. So I drew the bird and the tree free hand to make a pattern. Then I cut 13 of each in one night. I finished the rest of the card the next night.

Today we got the house clean and the back yard. Beside the little things during the week, Sunday is always our cleaning day from one end to the other. I get the inside and DH gets the outside. Were he gets the yucky part of cleaning up after the dogs. :(

Omg. We went out on a little much-needed Sunday date-day after working all week long to see "A Christmas Carol" and "The Fourth Kind". Dh could not wait to see the Christmas Carol. It was a very good movie and we recommend everyone to see it. The graphics are amazing and the 3d effect just adds to it. The Fourth kind is for someone that believe in Aliens. Dh though it was going to be more of a scary movie, but it was not. There was a lot of footage from a camcorder's. I'm glad it was not scary, hate to watch them in the theaters because I scream to much. Lol...there not for me, but I do it because DH loves them.

Unscripted Sketches 29

I finally got some scrapping done after so long. They are 2 cards that I created for a sketch challenge over at Unscripted Sketches.
This is how I'm enjoying my day off and it is nice peaceful with out DH here. I'm loving it.
Well I'm off to see what else I can find out there in the blog world of challenges.

Convention is almost here and at a new location. Should be lots of fun and exciting. My mom will be coming down to go with Jan and I. Im looking foward to it but then again i dont need anything becuase my closet is already over flwing with stuff I already have. Any on got any ideas for shopahplic's like my self.
I just wanted to pop in to say hello and let you know Im still alive and wanted to thank everyone who sent emails and text wishing me a good birthday. i love how we have all made friends from around the world.

I got one done for me

Hello everyone,

Brook came over yesterday and we had a BBQ and scrapped. She completed 3 frames for a gift and I completed a 2 page lo. It was from a kit I bought from Lickety Split Scrapbooks at convention I think 2 years ago. I love owls and I just had to get this one.
