Unscripted Sketches 29

I finally got some scrapping done after so long. They are 2 cards that I created for a sketch challenge over at Unscripted Sketches.
This is how I'm enjoying my day off and it is nice peaceful with out DH here. I'm loving it.
Well I'm off to see what else I can find out there in the blog world of challenges.

Convention is almost here and at a new location. Should be lots of fun and exciting. My mom will be coming down to go with Jan and I. Im looking foward to it but then again i dont need anything becuase my closet is already over flwing with stuff I already have. Any on got any ideas for shopahplic's like my self.
I just wanted to pop in to say hello and let you know Im still alive and wanted to thank everyone who sent emails and text wishing me a good birthday. i love how we have all made friends from around the world.

I got one done for me

Hello everyone,

Brook came over yesterday and we had a BBQ and scrapped. She completed 3 frames for a gift and I completed a 2 page lo. It was from a kit I bought from Lickety Split Scrapbooks at convention I think 2 years ago. I love owls and I just had to get this one.

More Cards

It was a very hectic day at work today. Can you imagine that we lost power in the building for 2 hours and we were still taking calls in the dark. You couldn't go in or out because the doors would not let you back in, the swiper for our badges would not work. On top of that the new program they just launched yesterday went down twice. I'm very grateful for my job, but days like this makes me wonder why I didn't call in sick. I guess they really needed us there to take calls even though we didn't have anything to work with.

I created this first 2 cards using the sketch from Unscripted Sketches.

I didn't all the cards finished like I wanted to. Hopefully I can get them done by the end of the week.

I made these all last week for one of my friends who needs them.

I still have another 20 to go and I'm hoping to finish them this week but I have been playing on the net to much. It's been a long time since I have sat down and actually surfed it.

Baby Book

Hi everyone!

I know I have been gone for a while now. Well the kids are gone and I'm getting back into the swing of scrapping.

I wanted to share a book that was created by Jenn, Brenda and my self for a very dear friend of mine. She is very sweet and non-judgemental. She is one of the best. We created 30 pages for the Baby Book. It took us 2 nights to work on it between the three of us.

I was not there when it was given to her. I did get a text from her the next day saying that she absolutely loved it and that it made her cry. She thanked both Jenn and I for doing such a lovely job. She got a new camera from all of us that were invited to the baby shower. So imagine all her content.

Sorry about the pictures...for some reason they had looked good in the camera but when I uploaded them there blurry.
